Legendary punk rock drummer Gabby Skab after spewing the Mess and flushing it down the drain, revived the Skabs in an overflowing toilet bowl.Dredging up from the scum of the sewer walls fathered by the turd swirler comes Bathroon Johnny on the vocal abuse.

Left for dead after a try out with the Ramones and only given a pair of Dee Dee Ramones’ leather pants as a parting gift, having them surgically attached to his penile section and thundering the bass riffs is Johnny O.

Slappy Skab the self ordained witchdoctor a.k.a. the voodoo guru of the Skabs started playing in the Skabs at the age of 15 lying to his mother telling her he was off to practice at the tabernacle. This group of Skabs shall surely turn the punk rock world in a new direction!!

What Can I say that has not been said about “The King Of The Underground,” the man who helped create the music genre “Scumrock”?

A lot actually, but all I really want to point out is that the below releases are still available here on the Black & Blue web site and are all available for download at your favorite e-music source.

These are the early year recordings, long before GG was incarcerated, before the film “Hated.” Back when GG was trying to make his mark in music. His years with The Jabbers, The Scumfucs, variations of both, and his one infamous gig with Afterbirth minus Algae. They say Jail changes a man, all you need do is listen to his releases on other labels to experience the difference.

GG did not have the advantage most rock stars have of rich parents nor did he join a band that had help from other members’ families. He like many of us tried to beat the music system and unlike many of us GG did!

Sadly it eventually cost him his life.

How many rock stars have the shelf life GG has had?

GG is still quite relevant long after his death and will continue to be with new releases still popping up, multiple web sites from the official to numerous fan based ones.

Look at all the artists that write about him or claim him as an influence. He truly is bigger in death than he was in life, a true music legend!

So pick up one of the Black & Blue GG releases and experience the GG Allin I knew and loved (not sexually unless you count him pissing on my leg once) and see if you won’t agree with me that there is a lot more to GG than the sensational untamed and violent stage antics most of his critics dismiss him as simply being.

LONG LIVE THE KING!

Peter Yarmouth – 2009

From America’s #1 Crime ridden city comes the punk rock/metal mesh sound known as Without MF Order. Scumrock if you will.

Founding member and guitarist Scumby began WMFO with drummer Crash in 1998. They self released 2 CDs before they met Peter Yarmouth at CBGB in 2006 when they opened for Red State Riot. Peter asked them to appear on the label’s compilation CD Music To Make Your Ears Hurt Trey, released in January 2007. Subsequently WMFO was signed to Black & Blue Records.

Their latest CD, DESENSITIVITY TRAINING, was released in 2008.

WMFO is fronted by vocalist/sicko Captain Perverto, and bass player Al Poe rounds out the lineup. WMFO has toured all over the Eastern and Central United States, as well as West Coast tours, including memorable gigs at The Sanctuary in San Antonio, Blood Club in Dallas, Room 710 in Austin TX, The Big Horse Lounge in Chicago, and CBGB’s OMFUG in NYC, as well as appearances in CA, NJ, TN, AR, MO, IL, WI, KS, CO, GA, PA, IA, OH, OK, and KY.

Look for them on tour all over the USA in support of their CD,

The Captain or Cap as we like to call him is responsible for most of the humorous and controversial lyrics. The lyrics exploit reality TV on “IDLE AMERICANS,” where Cap explains why he is the real Idol. A funny twist on St. Louis’ biggest marketing firm is presented on the classic tune “THIS BLOOD’S FOR YOU”. This band plays it hard and loud and creates their lyrics based on current events, life experiences. No subject is taboo.

The Legend Of JESSE & THE HOGG BROTHERS Although we have no genealogical proof The Hogg Brothers claim to be from same family tree as the famous Texas Governor James Stevens HOGG. At the age of 17 Horace Lee “Pappy” Hogg was living in a trailer in Bosque County outside of Clinton, Texas in 1952 when he was drafted into the US Army. Soon he was on his way to fight in the Korean War. There he met Travis Braintree, a member of Company E of the 31st Infantry. They fought side by side at the Battle of Pork Chop Hill. On the night of April 16, 1953, shortly before midnight, a hail of artillery signaled a sudden infantry assault by a Chinese battalion. Pork Chop Hill was quickly overrun, although isolated bunkers were defended by U.S. soldiers. During this battle Pappy Hogg was wounded, and Travis carried him on his back to one of the bunkers. Hogg’s life was saved, and the two became the best of friends. After the war Hogg retired from the army, married Betty Louise Dodson, and they quickly had two sons, PJ and Junior. Braintree reenlisted and was stationed in TX. Braintree eventually met and fell in love with Pappy’s sister, Thelma Hogg, and they were married in February of 1966. After only a few months of wedded bliss, Travis was sent to Vietnam, but not before Thelma became pregnant with Jesse and his twin sister Becky Ann. That year Pappy got divorced and quickly wed his 2nd wife, Gertrude Stuckey. Tragically, in the spring of 1967 Travis was reported Missing In Action near Hanoi. He was never heard from again. Pappy took in his sister and her children and helped raise the twins along with his new sons, Neil and Robert T. The boys grew up with Jesse listening to Buck Owens, Johnny Cash and many other country heroes. The family loved to watch Hee Haw together. Pappy taught Neil and Robert T. how to play guitar, and the brothers formed a band with Jesse as the lead singer. Jesse went on to college, but he dropped out and soon was working as a salesman. In the late 80s Jesse left Texas when he got a promotion that relocated him north to New England, where he made good money. Jesse still wanted to keep singing country music, so he formed a country cover band. He called it Jesse & The Hogg Brothers to honor his family band, and the other members took up the Hogg surname for performances. Buzz, Jethro and Bob were the original performing Hogg Brothers. In 1989 in a dive C&W bar in RI Jesse met Peter Yarmouth of Black & Blue Records, and Jesse went to TX and recorded a joke track, “Hogg Rustlin’,” with Neil & Robert T. on one of his visits back to Texas. The song appeared on a compilation album, and Jesse signed a contract to record an album that seemed destined never to come out. In 1992, Pappy wed his 3rd wife, Cathy Sue, and moved to Rhode Island to be close to her family. Pappy had PJ and Junior move in with them, and they reunited with Jesse and performed as Jesse And The Hogg Family. Both of Jesse’s bands played all over RI, MA, NH and CT playing country classics, but Jesse still longed for home and wanted to record and perform his own music. While continuing to perform up north, he never wanted to record with his “Yankee” bandmates or with Pappy and his cousins, and in 2002 he stopped performing. After some months of effort, Jesse found an opportunity for his favorite cousin. Neil & his son “Bobby”. to make money and so they moved up to MA as construction site flag wavers and Neils brother Robert T kept his promise to never go to Yankee land! So the brothers were finally seperated. The Hoggs did make good Yankee money but they hated the northern winters, and begged Jesse to move back to Texas with them. The Hoggs had continued writing songs together with Jesse, and while up north they were pretty much inseparable when they weren’t working. In fall of 2005 Jesse finally had enough of livin’ up north, and he quit his job and came back to Texas with his cousins. They began writing more songs and started recording music together, with lots of encouragement from Yarmouth. The recordings feature family members galore and special guest Harry Cox.

They recorded 2 CDs’ worth of music, and the first CD White Trash Meth Lab had a January 2009 release date, with another CD due out on or before summer/fall 2009.

Jesse & The Hogg Brothers “White Trash Meth Lab” “Working For Yankee Money”
(Black & Blue Records)
If this was just a band making white trash jokes and wearing Billy Bob teeth and using fake twangs this might suck. But the beauty of the Hoggs ( who are not above white trash jokes, Billy Bob teeth and fake twangs) is that they are also making super earnest country music, old time stuff, including CB trucking songs, odes to America, and Christmas songs on both albums. If you can’t get enough of the crude Southerner comedy (and a zillion Larry The Cable Guy fans can’t be wrong) meets 1968 Opry music then get both CD’s. Other curious folks get the second CD, as it includes some improved versions of the “hits” from the first one.
(Where I made some great friends for life) In 1988, Bloody Mess & The Skabs were formed. I spent the next 8 years, in a revolving door of musicians and utter chaos. The band was signed to Black & Blue Records & we did many 7 inch records & albums & cd’s. We played with bands like: Beautiful Burt & The Crotch Crickets, Safe Sex, Rednecks In Pain, Psycho & many more. We played New York City, Philadelphia, Deleware, Milwaukee, St. Louis, Davenport, Indianapolis, Cleveland & more. During this era, I appeared on the Nationally syndicated PHIL DONAHUE tv show, as well as ROLONDA. Myself & the band were featured in a tv show out of England called PASSENGERS at one point, & I also was a guest on a BBC radio program (and was even paid for it!). The band made newspaper headlines both locally & nationally when art was used on our first record, which was drawn by serial killer John Wayne Gacy. More articles appeared when serial killer Kenneth Bianchi (one of The Hillside Strangler killers) created the poster art for our “Empty” ep. The band were banned more often than not from clubs, halls & parties, because of destructive stage shows and all around chaos & debauchery. After burning the flag onstage in Davenport, Iowa, the band made the front page of at least 5 different newspapers in Iowa & Illinois. Death threats came. (and went) I quit the band in 1993 (or was it 94?) during the Hungover & Stoned East Coast tour. Enough was enough. Shit, at last count I think the group went thru 34 different band members!!! I decided to check out the outlaw country scene. In 1995 I assembled a band & wrote/recorded The Bloody & The Country Trash Punks 7 inch record. (for BALONEY SHRAPNEL RECORDS in Phoenix, Az.) The record was premature really, in the vocal department, as my education in doing country vocals was still to come. Never-the-less, it’s a cool little record, with fantastic musicianship. Steel guitars & all. Next, in 1996, I formed a working outlaw country band. THE RENEGADES. We promptly learned 40 or so songs, covers of classic country hits, from Johnny Cash, Waylon, Willie, David Allan Coe, Merle Haggard, Freddy Fender, Hank Junior, etc…and we played a shitload of gigs in Illinois. We played every honky tonk, redneck dive & even the “Dew Drop Inn” in Peoria. 75 shows in all! The shows were 4 sets a night, at least twice a week. Had a lot of fun & it was cool learning to sing. And the parallel between punk & outlaw country is obvious. The big difference is the beat & the twang. I finally grew tired/bored of doing this type of music & the band quietly morphed into a rock band called THE VAYNES. We learned cool rock covers by The Doors, Bay City Rollers, Bowie, The Clash, Blondie, Deep Purple, The Stones & more. We played in bars. Lots of bars. Saw any fights, drank lots of liquor & started to want to rock out harder. And I grew very sick of being in a fucking cover band. It WAS fun tho. I was paid well. But those scenes made me want to vomit after awhile. The Vaynes morphed into BLOODY & THE VAYNES and what a band! We did some punky ass hard rock & delivered a killer “live” performance always! We played Cleveland, Ohio and Illinois & Wisconsin & recorded an amazing cd for Black & Blue Records. One of the songs from that CD, “MY BLACK LITTLE HEART”, started gaining national airplay & was even in regular rotation on Rock 106 here in Peoria. It was sweet! We opened a show for Nazareth once in Peoria & I was kicked out eventually for lots of reasons. One was that I annoyed the band.(Nazareth) I was SO drunk that I kept telling them I was “the singer of the opening band”. After the umptennth time, they were livid. It was funny. Their drummer dropped dead 2 weeks later. (RIP Daryll Sweet) In 1999, I ended up getting a job as a radio DJ. I liked it a lot & created a 2 hour Sunday night show called THE CHURCH OF ROCK. I got ordained as a non-denominational minister. I started performing wedding ceremonies & have done around 18 marriages. I got so into radio that I quit the Vaynes. I became Reverend Derek Moody(on the radio) & enjoyed a full time radio gig from 6-Midnites in Bloomington, Il., at WIHN (I-Rock). I was there 3 years and also did part time radio for years. It afforded me the luxury of hanging out with, interviewing & meeting cool people like Alice , Ron Asheton from The Stooges, Richie Stotts of The Plasmatics, Hank 3, Zakk Wylde & many more. I left radio in around 2007 when the 4th incarnation of The Church Of Rock wnet bye-bye. I hope to start the show again in the future. Around this time, Ede & Mister Void honored me (a lot) by putting together the Bloody Mess tribute cd!!! (BLOODY & THE BASTARD CHILDREN) Lots of cool bands covered my songs and I even got to add two brand new originals to that album. One (ROCK N ROLL SCALLYWAG) was co-written by myself & Wes Beech of The Plasmatics!! This album inspired me to get back into doing music again. In 2003 I formed BLOODY & THE TRANSFUSIONS, an awesome punky rock n roll act that played many gigs in its 5 year span. We did two tours of Texas, played all over the midwest & recorded a full length cd for Black & Blue Records, that I’m quite proud of. It was the best “LIVE” act I ever had the pleasure of working with. And now? I have returned, full circle, to my hardcore punk roots. If you haven’t yet heard: Black & Blue records has finally released the BLOODY MESS: Anti Rockstar CD. It’s a killer 36 song cd containing music from 1985 to 2008! Its a retrospective containing songs not previously released on cd, or not released at all. Yep—Lots of great songs from my ex bands: Hate, the Skabs, The Vaynes and The Transfusions…You can get it from me, or at www.blackandbluerecords.com and I-Tunes.

Interview:

BLOODY MESS TAPS A VEIN for his fans – An interview by Brian Khoury
The following is an interview with infamous Midwest punk rocker Bloody Mess (also known as Bloody F. Mess). Bloody’s been kicking around the underground music scene since 1983, sometimes full-time, sometimes part-time, sometimes not at all. He’s disappeared numerous times over the years, only to re-surface again and again with a slightly different sound every time (and sometimes a different appearance).
Bloody gained notoriety singing for bands such as Chips Patrol, Unaccepted, Hate, The Skabs, The Vaynes and even outlaw country bands such as The Renegades and The Country Trash Punks. Bloody is currently residing in his hometown of Peoria, Illinois and he’s back yet again, starting a whole new chapter with a band called Bloody & The Transfusions. This interview was conducted via the telephone on Wednesday May 19th, 2004. It was 2am Central time. Bloody was at home in Peoria writing song lyrics, while I kicked back at my place in Chicago, remembering Bloody shows I had seen over the years.

Khoury: Well Bloody, you’ve been involved in the punk rock underground now for about 21 years. What is it that keeps you going and interested in music & performing?

Bloody: You mean besides nipple spankings and sheep? (laughs) I’m a rocker. Born a rocker, die a rocker. To quote Charlie Harper of The U.K. Subs. Rock n Roll keeps me, and a whole lot of other people young. Besides, I’ve got the energy, the lyrics and a killer band, so why wouldn’t I keep going. It’s in my blood.

Khoury: Well, didn’t you sort of quit performing back in 1999?

Bloody: I was still with The Vaynes in ‘99, but I got into doing radio as a sort of career and I was insanely burned out on constantly having been in bands since 1983, doing shows, rehearsing, writing all the time. I decided to take a break and focus on the creativity of doing my radio gig. I’m still doing radio, 5 years later, by the way. It was a drag having to leave The Vaynes though. I loved that band.

Khoury: That brings me to the next question. How long have you had the new band together & can you tell me about the guys in the band?

Bloody: My band is called The Transfusions. We’ve been together since I think August or September of 2003. Billy The Kid is on drums. He played with a band called GravelBath for years, and is a solid drummer and has been a friend of mine for over a decade. Lincoln is our bass player from hell and of course my brother from another mother! I met Lincoln at a Motorhead concert in 2003. The newest member of the band is Dave Moe. He plays guitar not only with his hands, but also his mind. Sometimes it’s so scary he has to wear adult diapers. You can always DEPEND on Dave, (laughs) Dave replaced our original guitarist Johnny G-String, and yes, we’re still pals with Johnny, and will soon be doing gigs with his new band The Scrappers.

Khoury: Will you guys be recording an album at any point?

Bloody: Did Jesus have holes in his hands? (laughs) Hell yes my brother! We’re currently writing a full-length CD which will be released on Black & Blue Records. This promises to be the best album yet, because I’ve got a book full of lyrics written and the Transfusions are coming up with killer music on a regular basis.

Khoury: I really dug your last release (Bloody & The Vaynes) which came out in 1999.

Bloody: Yeah – me too. (laughs) It’s my personal favorite of all my back catalog. You can order that CD from Black & Blue Records. I’ll give you the address and website info at the end of this conversation. They’ve got a lot of my stuff for sale. Buy it. Please, (laughs)

Khoury: Your lyrics & performance is still close to how it always was… But I noticed you’ve experimented with different rock sounds… Punk, hard rock, country…

Bloody: Amen. Life could get boring if it weren’t for trying new styles out. It’s a blast.

Khoury: What can we expect, as far as the sound, of the upcoming Transfusions sound?

Bloody: Uhhh… you can expect to fully climax when you hear any of the new songs.

Khoury: (laughs)

Bloody: It’ll be a punk-n-roll album with little bits of diversity and cool tunes. Some song titles you’ll see on the CD are: “T.H.C.”, “Tore Up From The Ground Floor Up”, and “Back On The Street.”

Khoury: Black & Blue Records recently released the Bloody Mess Tribute CD. How did that come about? Were you flattered?

Bloody: Are you kidding? I’m still flattered! In a nutshell, my friends Ede G. and Mister Void, from the band Slave, organized & put together the tribute disc, they teamed up with Black & Blue, and I was blown away! The respect is very much appreciated. The CD came out great with a lot of diverse bands doing versions of my songs. I even contributed 2 new tracks for the album. One is called “Rock N Roll Scallywag” and was co-written by myself & Wes Beech of The Plasmatics. Thanks to Dave Glover and Kevin Gray of The Megasonics for doing all of the music on that song.. .They did a smoking job!

Khoury: And Dave Glover was The Vaynes guitarist?

Bloody: Yes he was. He’s a brilliant guitarist and he’ll be mixing & producing the Transfusions CD. The other new song on the tribute disc is “Caged Animal”, a rockin mofo written by my drummer, Billy The Kid. I wrote the lyrics and a bunch of my bastard children performed on the recorded version. Thanx Ede, Void, Gary, Billy and Nic Belle! Cheers!

Khoury: Do you guys perform any of your older material at shows?

Bloody: We do stuff from The Skabs era, stuff from The Vaynes and our own new tunes. And I like doing covers by bands that are being forgotten. I like to preserve the roots of rock and keep it alive. We do songs by The Germs, Plasmatics, Ramones, The Dead Boys, Motorhead, Johnny Thunders Heratbreakers, Iggy & The Stooges. Hell we even do Johnny Cash, and are thinking of adding a Bob Marley song. But mainly we do high intensity punk n roll with an intense stage show performance to back it up.

Khoury: What else is on the horizon for Bloody & The Transfusions?

Bloody: We’re recording a couple of tracks for the upcoming 10-96 tribute CD. I’ll be doing a spoken word piece for that release too, for my fallen brother Dean Dirt. That will be coming out on CD & vinyl I believe. We’ve got new Transfusions shirts & buttons for sale. Black & Blue is also talking with me about a DVD release with Transfusions footage & old, rare stuff too. That’ll be real cool cause I’ve got tons of wicked video footage ii my collection.

Khoury: How often are you performing these days?

Bloody: Ahhhh… you know… I only enjoy doing about 2 gigs a month. We play locally and do shows in other states as well. We recently played in Kenosha, Wisconsin with the legendary Beautiful Burt & The Slage. That rocked. We’re headed to St. Louis on July 24th to perform at The Inferno. We’re also at SOP in Peoria on September 11th, and we wanna do shows in Detroit, Cleveland, Phoenix and wherever. If you want to book us just contact my e mail address at the end of this interview! And put the beer on ice pronto!
Khoury: Well Bloody, I appreciate your time and I hope to see you perform again soon. It’s always a blast, always unpredictable and I’ll give you the last word.

Bloody: Well thanks for YOUR time first of all. I wanna say that Black & Blue Records has a website at: www.blackandbluerecords.com and you can order the tribute CD and older material by contacting them at: bnbrecords@aol.com

Look out for the Transfusions baby! And remember, everyone else grew up, but I got Transfused!

Bloody Mess “Anti Rock Superstar A Retrospective” (Black & Blue)
Bloody Mess & The New Disease (myspace.com/bloodymessandthenewdisease)
Bloody brutal, and righteously raw, this Chicago suburbs punk scene vet (now playing in Peoria) has spent a quarter century making ugly, sometimes sludgy, occasionally scary sounds (one song on his new album ends with 5 minutes of coughing) that will cause you to have Bloody Stools (maybe his next band name). The Retrospective CD is an amazing collection for 80’s, 90’s and recent work that plays with everything from hardcore punk to Southern rock/outlaw Americana to just plain trash rock n’ roll, and it’s amazing how solid and hardcore he remains, the quality never dipping (and he looks virtually the same now as then). This is the kind of “easy” music (meaning it allows for ragged edges, cheap recording, and drunken execution) so it’s easy to become fat and lazy doing it, but Bloody always brings the same dedication and enthusiasm a wide eyed teen brings, and the 1985 cuts in the retrospective (which includes rarities, live tracks, unreleased cuts, and a WMAQ radio bit) perfectly fit with the tracks on the new CD.

RAW Chaotic Punk Rock and some Solid Rock N Roll
Finally all the Early year recordings, B-sides and unreleased recordings are on CD! This CD!

The first 12 tracks are with Hate, the next 21 are with the legendary punk rock underground icons The Skabs. Then an alternate version of one of the Vaynes’ songs and 2 brand new tracks from The Transfusions complete the package.

Bloody Mess & The Skabs-6th Grade Field Trip

The debut LP from this infamous punk rock band from Peoria IL. This album predates Gabby Skab having blue hair. WOW! Includes “Think Of Punk Rock When You Shit”, “My Own Worst Enemy”, ” the Bottom line” and of course the title track. This is the original Skabs and Bloody with guests including Stevo from Impetigo on 3 tracks. This album was also produced by Larry Evilelf and was always one of his favorites and hopefully yours too!

Hung Over & Stoned

http://cdbaby.com/cd/bloodymessskabs2

The final album from Punk Rock Legend Bloody F Mess and his band Bloody Mess & The Skabs. This one is chock full of punk rock and political and social commentary that is sure to strike a nerve. Complete with interview bonus track this one is worth it!

Bloody began his career in Peoria IL with band Chips Patrol and Hate before forming the band he would gain his infamy from Bloody Mess & The Skabs. Bloody and crew played all over and have recorded with the King of Underground music GG Allin. Bloody did a spoken word set on GG’s Hated in The Nation tour that ended in Dallas TX with GG being stabbed. Bloody Mess & The Skabs had 2 full CDS and 4 EPs behind them when they broke up for good in 1995. Bloody tried a C&W diversion with The Renegades and slowly turned back to rock and eventually The Vaynes. This band rocked live as well as on this studio album. Rock N Roll with Punk Rock Lyrics!!! Bloody’s current band is Bloody Mess & The New Disease.

GG Allin and Bloody Mess & The Skabs – THE BLOODY YEARS

http://cdbaby.com/cd/ggabmts

The Numerous rumors over the years became fact the morning of June 28th 1993. he notorious GG Allin died of an overdose in NYC. We all knew he would die young, but since he had originally planned to kill himself on stage, it came as a shocking surprise. Having known GG since about 1983, having done tours with him across the states and having overdosed on drugs and alcohol with him as well during those times. I’m sure as shit that he was the most shocked when he woke up and found himself dead. The content of this compact disc are from tapes I recorded and collected over the years (there are/were others, but they have since been lost, stolen or even worse sound quality than this stuff). The “Live” recordings and the phone conversations speak for themselves and were recorded before during or after the infamous “Hated In The Nation” tours, in which I opened for GG doing drunken spoken word ramblings. The songs recorded with my band , Bloody Mess & The Skabs were recorded when GG came to hang out with me here in Peoria IL. it was 2 nights of extreme alcohol and drug use and it shows in the songs themselves. Not only did we record Trashy Musick, but we spent time getting thrown out of a gay bar and a porn shop, drinking and running from cops in downtown alleys, getting a ride from an undercover narc and popping pills to the point of 2 day nausea. I hope this CD makes you sick as well. GG Allin lives on thru his musick and our memories.

Take it sleazy,
Bloody Mess 1993

BLOODY AND THE TRANSFUSIONS:

http://cdbaby.com/cd/bloodytransfusions

Another Black & Blue release from Punk Rock Legend Bloody F Mess and his band The Transfusions. After The Vaynes broke up due to the infamous Creepy Crawl show in St Louis, Bloody took some time off. Bloody had been playing with various bands until he formed The Transfusions in 2004. After a whirlwind tour in 2006 that ended with 3 dates in Texas Bloody along with Guitarist David Moe, Drummer Billy The Kid and the animated bass and vocals of country boy Lincoln Log set to recording and this is the result. A dozen slices of Punk Rock Stoner classics made to be played loud! Hear Bloody trash radio rock on FMFU, sing about his life on DIVEBAR SUPERSTAR, recap his time in southern TX on MINDS BLOWN IN SAN ANTONE and lots more! This is one Transfusion your ears will really appreciate!

BLOODY AND THE VAYNES

http://cdbaby.com/cd/bloodyvaynes

Another Black & Blue release from Punk Rock Legend Bloody F Mess and his band The Vaynes. This band rocked live as well as on this studio album. Rock N Roll with Punk Rock Lyrics!!!

BLOODY AND THE VAYNES Black Little Heart EP

http://cdbaby.com/cd/bloodythevaynes

For those who really love Bloody & The Vaynes you need to have this. The Remix of Empty is awesome and the new song “Unclog Your Drain” is a real fun rocker.
The final release from Punk Rock Legend Bloody F Mess and his band The Vaynes.

HOLLY WOULD BIO – Cedar Street Sluts

Originally from Sunset Boulevard in L.A., Holly came to New England through her friend Ginger Lee. Eventually she and Ginger met up with Peter Yarmouth and joined Lena Luna as the CEDAR STREET SLUTS trio who recorded the LP, Cassette and CD Songs By Working Girls.

Holly wrote four of the originals on that album, “Boys”, “No One Comes For Free”, “UH-OH”, and “Boyfriend Blues.” Holly also brews a mean cup of Java. Peter recalls “One night we all got together at Holly’s place and I drank 2 cups of coffee she made, I never went to sleep that night and my heart was racing like a cartoon character with a jumping in my shirt. It was as strong as Turkish Coffee but I got no warning before drinking it”
Known for her sexy soft voice a la Marilyn Monroe, and her love of animals including rodents, Holly was quite a colorful person in band interviews as well as onstage.

When Ginger Lee left the band to chase a member of Johnny Thunders’ band, Holly got her good friend Ali Trash to fill in for many a live performance up and down the east coast. The girls were very popular with other artists on the label and Holly became good friends with The Wizard from Algae Afterbirth’s band. One could say she walked all over him!

Holly was ahead of her time musically as she recorded some electronic ditties that are the rage of the UK and other parts of Europe, with 2 of her compositions being included on the first Music To Make Your Ears Hurt label compilation. Peter encouraged her to record a full CD. Holly began the project but an external incident put the brakes on it.

Two nights before the filming of the Cedar Street Sluts music videos Holly and Peter got into a dispute over the number of cast members that could be in the film sessions. The studio had an occupancy limit and Holly insisted that that had to change. Peter pushed back and Holly quit the band. She was replaced by Rita Rude and the videos and band went on!

Years passed, and Holly and Peter made up. Holly is still making music and finally her first full length release RAT TAILS is a reality.

Minimal music combined with emotional and bizarre lyrics make this one a unique album, well worth checking out!

The Neverland Ranch Hands were formed in San Diego, California in e arly 2007 by Mucky and Justin Credible . Mucky placed an ad on the local Craigslist “musicians” section and Justin responded. They had similar musicial tastes and ideas so they decided to give it a go. Justin asked his long time friend Bad Chad Afrika to play guitar and the foundation of the Ranch Hands were formed. For the first few months, the three of them practiced, wrote songs and tossed around band names, all without a bass player. Chad contacted his friend Skot Harrington to play bass so a full band was ready to get out there and play. The band thought that another guitar player would sound good, so Adam brought in his friend Robbie to play second guitar. Now that the band had a solid line-up, a name was needed. Many names were tossed around; Nine Inch Males, Black Beauties an d a shitload of others, but a friend of the band suggested The Neverland Ranch Hands and the rest was history.
The bands first show was on Cinco De Mayo 2007, and it was a good show. A lot more shows were played in Southern California with this line up and a solid following of fans ensued but it didn’t last long because practices interrupted SkotE2s cartoon and video game time and Robbie decided that playing wasn’t for him so they both said good-bye.
The band had to go throu gh the whole deal of finding a new players. Freddie Carbrawl joined on second guitar in mid 2009, and added a whole new sound to the band. He suggested a friend of his to play bass, Heathen Dug, the guitarist for Caskets On Parade, so a full band was ready to get out there and play.
In July of 2009 Peter Yarmouth contacted and signed the band to Black & Blue Records for a 2010 CD release and a spot on the upcoming Music To Make Your Ears Hurt Fore compilation CD.
Heathen Dug eventually left the band in September 2009 as he could just not balance enough time being in multiple bands so they quickly added Jack Shrivelsack to replace him.
Finally, the Ranch Hands have the solid, final line up they wish they had in 2007.

So Get ready, The Neverland Ranch Hands are out to moonmosh all over your emo lovin ‘ asses!

Johnny G. String- Vocals and Guitar

Five years ago Johnny G. String left the band he co-founded, the punk rockers Bloody & The Transfusions, to form a new band more focused on metal. He met up with the brothers Justin and Joe Slater-Webster, along with the personable Jacob Mudd, and the Scrappers were born. The Scrappers hail from the Midwestern city of Washington, Illinois.

The Scrappers are old school metal heads. They don’t try to sound like any band – they just do what comes natural. Along its 5-year odyssey the band has experienced a bit of adversity. Johnny G. String sometimes drinks way too much whiskey, and likes to fight. Jacob falls off the planet or it seems like it and something is always up with him. Joe sometimes forgets how the song starts and sometimes he is in his own little world. Justin is just way too nice; he has to be reminded “You’re a Scrapper damn it, Scrappers aren’t nice!

The creative songs they play show true talent. They believe that music should be unique as well as chal lenging to play. Johnny says “We get inspired like most musicians from drugs and alcohol. Seriously though, we get inspired in many ways, one is by listening to some of our favorite bands, like Slayer, Motorhead, Iron Maiden etc., also by one of us coming up with a hook, or just messing around at practice. As a band I think that our two most popular songs are “Why I Can’t Kill You,” which was our first recording so it has its place in Scrapper history, and “Dreams”. “Dreams” is the song that our fans like the most so it has meaning as well. But don’t make us choose, we love all of our children equally. We have had a lot of trouble with other bands over the years, funny thing is most of those band are broken up and we are still kicking ass so they can bite us.”

Asked if they are political Jacob says “We are all concerned about the extreme spending our federal government has done already this year; there’s only two places the government can get money from and that is from all of us or borrow from China and we don’t like either option.”

Joe adds “Sex, drugs and rock and roll are a big part of it, come on we are a rock band. But mostly we do it for the crowd.”

“The Scrappers are like family,” Justin states. “We are all involved in each other’s lives and have good relationships with each other’s families. It makes it easier when you don’t have to worry about someone being overbearing or bitchy, or any of that kind of negative energy. We just have one thing on our minds and that’s jamming. We definitely agree on having an open mind. We accept all input and try to capture each member’s unique differences when writing songs.”

Like a Wolverine that knows no fear that’s how The Scrappers are, never backing down. The Scrappers brand of BALLS TO THE WALL ROCK HAS ARRIVED! READY TO KICK YOUR ASS!

The classic recordings by GG Allin’s buddy and record producer Dick Urine.

From Liner Notes: Our founder and late friend Richard Yorun who is more well known as Dick Urine. The late great Dick produced some of the very first releases by GG Allin on Black & Blue. Dick was a great singer in his own right and recorded a mass amount of tape while waiting for artist to show up during booked studio time. We found many of these tapes after Dick’s death and released them to be heard by the public for the very first time. With a plethora of guests including GG Allin on Drum Machine & Prince Paulley on Keyboards. These are “The Lost Dick Urine Tapes.”

AND NOW THE TRUTH!!!!!!!

Dick Urine is a pseudonym associated with independent label owner/producer Peter Yarmouth Dick Urine was Yarmouth’s stage name (which he always hated) and the name was created/invented by GG Allin.

The “Dick Urine” name first turned up on early self-released cassettes of material (usually live recordings) Allin had sold in Boston-area stores and through advertisements in such magazines as Trouser Press and Maximum Rock N Roll. The cassette albums were usually soundboard or audience recordings made on cassette, but Allin, seeking to have a producer’s name on the cassette inserts, told Yarmouth he was going to make him famous and came up with the name “Dick Urine” to use on the producer’s credit. The phony credit may have also served to deflect blame for the less-than-perfect sound away from Allin himself. The duo had met in 1980 and they began discussing Yarmouth bankrolling GG’s releases and came up eventually with the label name Black & Blue Records. Having given Yarmouth credit as Urine on the prior releases, the duo came to agreement on Yarmouth investing in GG, which set the tone for the eventual formal business relationship. All of the recordings for Allin’s albums were physically produced by Allin and Yarmouth’s role (or Urine’s depending on who was listed on the album in the credits) was more of an executive producer. This partnership, a combination of Yarmouth’s marketing in many publications including Flipside, Maximum Rock N Roll, Option, RIP, Ben is Dead, Real Life In A Big City, and many local music newspapers and fanzines, along with Allin’s touring the US both with bands and with a boom box, the infamous Cat Club Show and The Village Voice exposure that resulted from it, and of course Allin’s recordings drove GG from the anonymity of New Hampshire to his Underground Icon status. These recordings and videos from various companies still have selling power today. Allin always told Yarmouth that he would make him rich. That never happened since Yarmouth has never “quit his day job” which has bankrolled the label which still exists today.
Another interesting twist on reality was when the first Black & Blue vinyl release Live Fast Die Fast was coming out, Yarmouth had the idea of claiming that Black & Blue Records was actually a Swedish label and that he only ran its American office in Smithfield, RI. Yarmouth felt a label from RI or NH would have little credibility, so the record’s label on that 7″ EP release listed Black & Blue as being in Stockholm, Sweden. That marketing scheme (which really had no impact on the label’s credibility) would come in handy later.

Around the time Allin’s classic album E.M.F. was released, Peter began getting recognized in public as Dick Urine. He told GG the name had to go and he wanted production credit in his name instead. To that end, they conceived of a back story for the origin of Dick Urine to give him more of a legacy: Dick Urine’s real name would be Richard Yorun. He would be a budding sound engineer who became involved with GG Allin after witnessing an early Jabbers show in 1980 (which Yarmouth actually did), and Allin would be said to have given Yorun the Dick Urine moniker after taking a liking to him (which was also true). Yarmouth was not from Flushing, NY, but the story they decided to go with had Yorun being from there.

Yarmouth recorded an album on his own and with friends and had GG write the liner note to pull off the fake death scheme. The album, The Lost Dick Urine Tapes, was credited to Richard Yorun and initially claimed that GG Allin had played drums on it. It was an initially believable claim since Allin actually wrote the liner notes credited to him and he did play the drums on The Jabbers’ recordings and elsewhere… except for the fact that the drum tracks sounded like what they really were: a drum machine. So, all future advertising for the record started claiming that Allin had played or programmed the drum machine. Neither claim was actually true, but Allin consented to the gag.

They both began telling people who asked to meet Dick Urine or have him produce them that he had ‘died’ in a motorcycle accident in Sweden, where he was supposedly buried. This way only Swedes could check.

For many years Yarmouth denied he was Dick Urine to any one asking but became more open to the truth when promoting The Cedar Street Sluts. The truth slipped out in an interview in Providence’s NICE PAPER. Yarmouth begged it be withheld from publishing and it kind of was as the interview consisted of Yarmouth getting asked many times if he was Dick Urine. It was only after GG’s death that the truth was admitted publicly by Yarmouth and the farce came full circle. Yarmouth was amazed and still is by the number of people that believed it as truth.

Songs include:

Apple Pie
It’s So Easy
Diarrhea Blues

This band from Belmar, New Jersey was one that pioneered Black Metal. Many compare them to Candlemass and King Diamond but the truth is they have a sound that is unique to them. A love of B horror movies brought them together and you could say it had a profound impact on the lyrical content of the songwriting.

Drummer John Radcliffe formerly of the punk rock band Public Disturbance decided to start a metal band and he along with guitarist Dave Stein, Bass player Terrence Brown and vocalist Eric Kirkpatrick coined the term Gothic New Age Speed Metal to describe the sound that became NORTHWINDS.

Touring the USA opening for Metal headliners in a camper van got the attention of legendary producer Larry Evilelf. In fact Northwinds was the 1st band Larry produced for Black & Blue. Shortly after the signing and before the release of their album Eric was replaced by Steve “the Rattler” Statlin. The original recordings with Eric were redone by Steven and SLEEP WITH EVIL was ready!

The band encountered controversy when they decided to use a drawing of Baphomet as the album cover. The name Baphomet traces back to the end of the Crusades references as a term for a pagan idol in trial transcripts of the Inquisition of Knights Templar in the early 1300s. From the 19th century to today the name Baphomet then became associated with a “Sabbatic Goat” image drawn by Eliphas Levi. The drawing on the album cover closely resembles that drawing. Many confused it as a Satanic image or the devil when its true origins are with the occult which many associate with Satan. The Baphomet image was used in the 19th century to suggest the demon was worshiped by Freemasons. As you might guess all this history can lead people to a lot of conclusions and it did. Northwinds did nothing to contradict any association based on the history or legends, in fact if anything they loved the attention it got them. The album is loaded with lots of occult references.

Dancing in the Morgue was featured on the first Black & Blue Compilation MUSIC TO MAKE YOUR EARS HURT and is just one of the ballsy tunes you’ll hear on “Sleep with Evil”. But there is a lot more to capture your curiosity “Confusion”, “Lostology”, “Abraham” and the live favorite “Generic Mosh Song in E, Poser Boys Die”!

Steve (The Rattler) Statlin provides the storytelling vocals, David Stein gives you some keyboards, backing vocals and of course the commanding lead guitar. Terrence Brown the rock steady bass and John Radcliffe pounds drums to form the authority of the bottom sound. Together they created what is now referred to as a “Classic” Metal album.

Since the band split in 1994 not much is known about any of the band playing music today except for Dave Stein who has since played for Strychnine and Beyond Deranged and he is currently the keyboardist for Infernaeon who are on Prosthetic Records. Dave as of this writing is recording a new album with Infernaeon titled “Genesis to Nemesis” which is being produced and recorded by James20Murphy (Testament/Death/Obituary) and Dave Brockie (lead singer of GWAR) is doing guest vocals on one of the songs. Dave Stein’s MySpace page is myspace.com/thelema93 and you can check there for more information.
